House of

PLUM

DESIGN & BUILT

PROJECT: RESIDENCE

LOCATION: URLA, IZMIR

The house of Plum is nestled in the charming town of Urla, within the Izmir province, often affectionately dubbed the 'Tuscany of Turkey.' As you approach, a serene backdrop of olive trees welcomes you, with a striking reinforced concrete staircase serving as your initial encounter. Ascending these steps guides you to the house's entrance.

Inside, the space unfolds across three stories, each marked by distinctive, staggered interior structures that enhance the dynamic interaction between occupants and spaces. Our interior design approach prioritizes connectivity, embracing an open-plan concept that allows users to immerse themselves in the panoramic surroundings and engage with the primary view of the house.

During the design process of "HoP", primary focus was on elevating its visual allure, fostering an atmosphere of spaciousness, tranquility, and crafting purpose-driven, versatile areas. Each element was meticulously chosen to ensure not just aesthetic appeal but also a sense of calm and functionality throughout. With the intention of creating a space that seamlessly blends modern elegance with a welcoming ambiance, aimed to establish an environment that resonates with both contemporary style and a heartfelt, inviting warmth.
